About David Wohlfahrt

When David was seven years old, he received a camera as a Christmas gift and that was the beginning of his lifelong passion and future career in photography and film. David’s first images were of winter scenes - his friends with their long, cone-shaped toques wrapped around each other, and the winter wonderland outside Sudbury, Ontario. In high school, he began processing his own film and printing images--at times skipping class to be in the darkroom. Later, earning his Diploma in Photography from Fanshawe College in London, he moved to Toronto to pursue a career in commercial photography--working as an editorial, corporate and advertising photographer.
After 2000, David began translating his love for photographic image making into a career in the film industry, where he has been pursuing avenues as a writer-director and Director of photography.
